According to Game Rant, Ubisoft has quietly listed Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and PC Storefront with a price of $99.99.
The listing appeared on July 6, 2026, and includes the base game along with the Season Pass, Year 2 Pass, Narco Road, Fallen Ghosts, Quick Start Pack, Deluxe Pack, and two new DLC packs, Nightfall Protocol and Cold Eye, which are scheduled to become available in-game in August.
Ubisoft has not made any formal announcements regarding the Definitive Edition. The store listing reveals that this is a PS4 version that can be played on PS5 via backward compatibility, rather than the original PS5 version.

Game Rant reports that Reddit users have spotted promotional images on Xbox Game Hub advertising 4K resolution, 60 FPS gameplay, and a story mission called Last Rites, which is listed for release in early August. Changes to the PlayStation Store listing previously suggested the possibility of a native PS5 version.
Ubisoft has not confirmed any of these details. The current PlayStation Store page still lists Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition as a PS4 game that can be played on PS5 via backward compatibility, and there is no mention of the Last Rites mission.
According to Game Rant, the Definitive Edition and two August packs are authentic, but recent statements from Ubisoft have not officially confirmed a new story expansion or a dedicated update for current-gen consoles.
