Rockstar Games has announced that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 6 will open on June 25, 2026. Along with the news, the studio also unveiled the game’s official cover art, which is now available on Rockstar’s website.
The game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The version for PC has not been confirmed yet.
The pre-order date is part of Rockstar’s larger marketing strategy, which Take-Two Interactive has indicated will increase in intensity over the summer.
Where does GTA 6 pre-order open and how to pre-order?
Rockstar has not yet announced any details, including special edition or tiered pre-order packages, pricing, or specific pre-order bonuses.
Since GTA Online has supported GTA 5 for over a decade, early pre-order incentives when GTA 6 is released could include items like early-access cosmetics, in-game currency, or exclusive vehicles for the online mode.
The official cover art is the first major piece of marketing material released ahead of the launch, following the previously shared trailers and screenshots.
Pre-orders will become available on June 25th through multiple platforms. Customers can visit the official website of Rockstar Games rockstargames.com/VIWhere the game will be listed.
It will also be available on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, with the option to wishlist the game on both storefronts. Users can now add the game to their wishlist to receive a notification when pre-orders open.
